Hey folks! This is Josh with Lappin Bookkeeping Services and I just wanted to create a quick video so that you can put a face with a business and to get to know a little bit more about me.

So first things first on the professional side here's just a little bit about my background. My training and my qualifications; first I am a QuickBooks Proadvisor and a Certified Intuit Bookkeeper. This basically means that I know a lot about QuickBooks and that I'm really good at bookkeeping, of course. Also I did graduate from Barton College in 2012 with a degree in accounting and a minor in economics.

Also, I have operated three successful businesses. Number one, a daycare. Number two, a property management company and number three, my bookkeeping business. The daycare was sold in 2020, but I'm still operating the property management company and the bookkeeping businesses currently.

I've also had several other businesses that I tried to start that did not work out. Those include an online drum business, an Amazon FBA business and an online fitness business. So I'm very familiar with small businesses what they need and how they work.

Now a little bit more on the personal side. I am really into fitness and I enjoy working out. I usually lift weights about three times a week. I like to do powerlifting style workouts as well as bodybuilding based routines and I also like to get in some good long walks two to three times a week.

Also into music I play drums, piano, bass guitar and I do a little bit of recording every once in a while which is pretty fun. Interesting fact, I also have a degree in Recording Technology, which I got before I got my accounting degree. I like to travel. I've been all over the east coast of the United States. I've been out west a couple times and I also like to go International. I've been to a variety of Caribbean countries including Puerto Rico, Jamaica Cayman Islands and Mexico.

Other personal details. I've been married for 16 years and I have two kids. We have a new dog! His name is Milo and he is an 18 month old Golden Doodle and he is a mess and he is into everything right now!

I think that sums up enough right now about me. There will be more videos coming that deal more with the business and accounting side but I just wanted to get up here and introduce myself and just tell you a little bit more about me.
